Happy 4th of JULY!!!!

Our little family had a great 4th of July. We were invited to a BBQ with all of Curtis's fellow students. It was as "Tacky" red, white, and blue dress up BBQ and so we went to the Salvation Army and Goodwill and found tacky clothes for all of us. It was really fun to dress up and just relax and enjoy eachother. Then we went to the Parade in downtown Coralville and it was a huge parade. There were like 170 floats and I have never seen so much candy thrown at a parade in my life. It was really fun. We took a picture of a person dressed up in all Samari garb. It was great. We of course went to the fireworks later that night with the Elder's and Vania, her daughter Demia, and their friend Angel. Vania is one of our investigator's here and she is just so awesome. We are so blessed to have been able to get to know her. We hope that all of your 4th's were as fun as ours. Love you all!!!Don't we look Tacky!! Please say yes!!!

This is Jeremy he is in Curtis's class we had the BBQ at his house. Vance was trying to stare him down but got bored of it after a little bit.
Vance really like this necklace. He especially enjoyed chewing on it.

Vance and I got invited to a friends house to go swimming in their little pool. He had a great time and they enjoyed it too!! He sure can entertain. He is a water boy that is for sure.



Vance likes to lean over onto his head. One of these days I am sure that he is going to just flip over.
I like to walk now and I think I am pretty good too!!!
Vance just couldn't get enough of his noodles and tomato juice he just had to lick the bowl clean.

I was trying to be sneaky and catch him off guard because he was licking the bowl but I couldn't fool him he has supersonic hearing and our camera makes noise when it opens.
Vance says "LOOK no hands or feet!!" He thinks he's ready for the real deal. Maybe in sixteen years pal!!

He is so proud of his new car he loves to climb on it and hit all the buttons. The eyes and mouth move on the front so he thinks it is pretty cool.
I LIKE STRAWS!!!!!

I am getting pretty good at drinking out of a straw. I like to share with mommy and daddy. It is great fun.

This is our fun Saturday morning activity. Curtis took a break from studying so that we could take Vance to go and play at the mall. He just had a ball. He wouldn't crawl through the tunnel and I don't know why. He usually loves things like that. But he jut had a great time and I think Daddy loved it too!!!





Ok so one day this week I happened to look up at Vance while he was eating his dinner just to see how he was doing and this is what I saw. HE FELL ASLEEP IN HIS CHAIR!!! It was so cute we had to take some pictures and some video of him. Poor little guy was all tuckered out. We just thought everyone would enjoy these as much as we do.

He really enjoys putting things on his head now and these are his pj's. He likes to look at you from underneath something.
Vance had just woken up from his nap and I wanted to take a picture of him but he just wasn't happy. He still looks so handsome even though he is scowling at me.
