SPAGHETTI FACE!!! Vance loved his spaghetti. He is just so dern cute.
His life is obviously too tough. He fell asleep and looked so relaxed so I just had to take this picture.
My BOYS, what more can I say!!
Vance says "HI" to everyone.
Look at my teeth, boy oh boy they sure have grown. It makes my smile just that much sweeter!
These are just some pictures we took on a day when it was really stormy out and the storm was blowing over so you see clear blue sky parted through dark clouds. There is also a rainbow. It was just too pretty to pass up.

Curtis gets his White Coat

Here he is getting his white coat. We are so proud
Smile big!!!
These are a couple of the second year students Mark Olson and Jon Winkfield. They are in our ward and these guys have a great time together.
Here is Curtis's whole class in their white coats. Don't they all look so sophisticated? They are all great people. We have really enjoyed getting to know all of them.

Happy Fathers Day to Curtis!!!!

We woke up early and made Daddy his favorite breakfast on Father's Day, one that I am sure many love, BISCUITS AND GRAVY!!!! He loved them because I don't make them as often as he would like. Then vance presented him with a T-shirt that we made and boy let me tell you it wasn't easy. But we made the best of one set of hands and four flailing appendages with paint on them. Too bad I couldn't get pictures of that but our carpet is white and I forgot the camera inside so we had to do without. We made Curtis a card and he enjoyed it. I hope he had a great Father's Day and that he felt as special as he is too both of us. Words can't describe the great daddy that he is. WE LOVE YOU CURTIS!!!!!
I LOVE YOU DADDY!!! YOU'RE MY HERO!!!

Our house

This is our front room. I really love the fireplace and I am excited to use it someday.
Here is another view.
This is our kitchen. It is the most wonderful kitchen in the world. LOOK AT ALL THE COUNTER SPACE!!!! I'm in heaven. Your really learn to appreciate the small things in life. Oh and it has a dishwasher and there is a washer and dryer in the closet to the left.
I know you all were dying to know where we put the lovesac!! Well here you go it fits nicely in the corner of our front room.
This is a view from our deck. We are really lucky to have such a wonderful place to live.
Isn't it beautiful.
Vance is trying to escape out the back door but I caught him. Silly boy!!!

Fun times in Iowa City!!!

We went on a horse drawn carriage ride in Nauvoo and Vance really had a great time.

Vance wanted to help me open my mothers day gifts. He is such a great helper.

Curtis was holding Vance for his nap one day and this is his hair after he woke up. He thought it was pretty funny too!

I just thought Vance looked pretty cute so I took a picture.

This is Vance's first time eating spaghetti and he loved it. Of course he rubbed it all over his face including in his eyes so we had to hurry and take this picture. It is pretty cute though.
Vance found a new favorite place. He loves going under the side table so I have to make sure there is nothing down there at all times.
Curtis's first day of school. Doesn't he look great!!
Vance wanted to crawl into Daddy's bag and go to school too!
If that is not a guilty face then I don't know what is. Vance decided to take advantage of mom being out of the room for a minute and this is what he did.
Our ward had a softball game on Memorial Day and Curtis played in the game. He really had a great time. GO DADDY!!!
Vance and Crystal watching the game.
Aunt Ella gave Crystal these maraca's when I was younger and I knew they would be appreciated by someone else as well and boy was I right. Vance loves them he just sat and played with them forever. Thank you Aunt Ella!!!
Vance was eating a biscuit and just made a mess. We love to see it and how cute they look but we don't like to clean up the mess!! I think it is worth it though.
Curtis wanted to see what Vance's hair would look like in a Fo-hawk and here it is. Personally it is a favorite. He can wear anything this kid.
