Greetings from the Hawkeye State!!! Our big move.

Here we are!!!

I took this picture in the bathroom and the Oklahoma City airport. It is the automatic toilet seat covers. Just thought everyone would like to see it.

Here are Alyse and Vance playing in the toy bucket. Aren't they cute!!

Here is Vance's first bath in the bathtub without the little tub and he just had a ball. He likes rubber ducks!!! Aunt Ella and Uncle Sam let us use their tub.

Vance was tuckered out on the way to Kansas City. He is so precious. He did a great job on the road.

This is a picture of us coming into Kansas City. It was beautiful.

Vance loves to stand up in his car seat and he had time to do that while we were waiting to get checked into our hotel.

We went walking around downtown Kansas City and found this fountain. It was a perfect photo op!!!

Here we are walking around Mormon Trek Blvd in Iowa City. It was a beautiful peaceful evening.

We came across this tree that grew around the barbed wire in the ground I hope you can see it.

This is a playground outside the library in downtown Iowa City.

While both sets of Grandparents were here we decided to take a trip to Carthage and to Nauvoo. This is the window that Joseph Smith Jr. jumped from when the mob attacked them in Carthage Jail. There is a great sense of reverence here. I couldn't help but be humbled that we take for granted the small sacrifices that we have to make when the early founders of our church had to sacrifice so much more.

This is an outside view of Carthage.

Here is a pretty picture that I took at the Nauvoo Temple. What a wonderful place.

This is the gravesite of Joseph and Hyrum Smith and also Emma Smith.

You can't see it but Vance is looking up at a Christus Statue. He knows who it is.

We wanted to get a picture with all the grandparents and Vance while they were here.

Vance is just happy to be here.

We are in front of the Statues of Joseph and Hyrum in front of the Temple.

Here are my boys enjoying each other.

This picture is a view of the town from the temple. It was kind of foggy that day but it made for a great mood.

Here we all are. Don't we look great!!!

Our family in front of the Nauvoo temple. It was a wonderful experience one that we will glady repeat if any of you would like to come and visit us (HINT HINT).
